KILN CAR BRAKES
Basic Machinery Company
supplies two separate types of kiln car brakes. Our friction disc
brake is designed to lag into the floor very easily. The wheelbase
will fit a multiple of height variances. Once the height has been
determined, the unit can be welded to the base post. The second type
is a leaf spring application. It includes a channel base frame for
floor mounting and can be cast in new concrete or lagged into
current concrete flooring. This application was created for running
on the undercarriage of the kiln car.

POWERED KILN CAR POSITIONER
The Basic Machinery
Company Kiln Car Positioner can be located at the setting or
unloading point of track. This allows for precise positioning of the
kiln cars. The electric drive system is shown on the model in the
photograph. Hydraulic drives are also available as an option.
Forward and reverse positioning operation. To be located at
positions where movements of one kiln car length or less is
required.
